We wanted to bring something (a piece of clothing or blanket) back w/us from the Orphange that Avah would be familier with. To help her adjust ect... so we had brought a blanket w/us and decided if we trade blankets then no one will be short a blanket and Avah will have the "blankie" that is dear to her. It worked out very well and seemed to help soothe her. And the blanket we brought was cute and even bigger then her "blankie" the Nanny's loved the idea too which was important. Cleverness!
