Our Hotel Room
Our Rm (#606) was on the back side of the hotel on the 6th floor, it wasn't very quiet though like we had hoped for. So it was hard to sleep for the 1st few nights. It seemed to quiet down around 2am in the mornings, but we got use to it and it became our new temporary home. We had a nice bath rm w/all new appliances (toilet, tub and sink.) It has been recently redesigned, tiled and painted. We had 3 windows total. One window was more of a door/window it had a medieval style to it w/a dramatic handle. It opened to down below were the restaurant area was with a trickling waterfall that leads into a small pool of water w/fish. So, that was a pretty neat and different feature. I wish I had gotten a picture of it, rats. It was a neat airway too, we'd wake up every morning to the smell of a fresh pot of steaming, pho soup! It wouldn't be soon until we were up and hungry for breakfast (pho) of course! The wardrobe in our rm was also a beautiful piece of furniture. It was solid wood and I can imagine it being extremely heavy to move. Every day the hotel staff would clean when we left them our key, that was the signal. They always left fresh fruit and flowers, a nice touch when you come into your rm from being out. Especially later on when Avah joins us, since we had formula and water spills all over our rm by accidents during the night (making and mixing bottles for Avah) by clumsily climbing over luggage in the dark and other travel junk that had been around. So, we always looked forward to the rm service when they'd clean and gather up dirty laundry. Overall, it wasn't a big rm, but it did the trick and that's all that mattered.
